5 Inspirational TED Talks Every Woman Needs to Watch

I came across TED Talks during a time where I was reading books on success, around late 2017. I know how outdated and irrelevant some people may say these seminars are, but I couldn’t disagree with them more. Even though some of these talks may be old, they are still very much informative and can teach you so much more than you thought you knew. I don’t believe that these TED Talks are irrelevant either, but I do believe the topic of choice may not relate to particular people for many reasons.

I chose a few (of many!) amazing TED Talks that I genuinely resonated with.¬† Time and time again during these past few months, I’ve found myself come back to a few of these motivational talks and they’ve really changed my perspective on life and achieving success.

Here are my 5 Inspirational TED Talks Every Woman Needs to Watch:

1.How to stop screwing yourself over – Mel Robbins

This is some hardcore motherly love right here. If you’re slacking around, Mel Robbins is about to put an end to that and help you get sh#t done! I personally would love to get my hands on her ‘5 Second Rule’ book, that teaches a lot of the concepts she’s learnt on how to rewire your mind for productivity. Thanks to Mel, I now 101% believe that motivation is utter garbage! Read her book and you’ll see why.

2. Programming your mind for success – Carrie Green

I am Carrie Green’s stalker! This is the TED Talk I always find myself coming back to whenever I feel stuck and hopeless. Carrie Green gives you some insight on how she started her business from nothing and made her Female Entrepreneurship Association, the success it is today. She shares the power of actually starting somewhere and what it means to be afraid and where it will get you.

3. Girl Up: The Secrets to an Extraordinary Life – Courtney Ferrell

I really wish Courtney Ferrell had a YouTube channel of her own where she did more talks like this. I watched this because it constantly came up in my recommended feed and boyyy, did I not realize what I’d been missing out on. This talk is for young girls and women and the fundamentals of life that they need to survive in this world. Courtney is the most enthusiastic and funny speaker I’ve seen! She’s got an amazing way of teaching and making young women know their worth.

4. The Unstoppable Power of Letting Go – Jill Sherer Murry

No, this is not only for people who are going through a breakup! This is for everyone. When I watched this I had no expectation for how Jill’s story ended and was completely in tears. In this talk she shares a little bit of her life story and what it truly means to let go, which is forgiveness (the power of letting go). I feel like this is a talk that every person out there should watch, boy or girl, young or old, we’re all human and should know how to forgive. This is one of the most powerful stories I’ve heard and it left me in tears at my desk!

5. Plus-size? More Like My Size РAshley Graham

I really wanted to add to this list, something that related to all the body shaming women face on a day to day basis. Ashley Graham is famous all over the world as a model. She has even graced the cover of Vogue magazine! She talks about body shaming and feeling comfortable in your own skin as a woman. She’s an amazing example of how you can’t control what people and about you but you can control how you react to hate. An amazing talk, from a great role model!

Have fun binging on these inspirational women and their heartfelt advice! Comment down below with which TED Talk was your favorite from them all. If you have any recommendations for us, let us know! xoxo
